In Chinese Herbal Medicine, individual herbs are combined to make formulas. These formulas are based on prescriptions that have been studied and developed in Asia, for thousands of years. Herbs can be taken in powder form dissolved in water, in pill form, or cooked into a decoction. Herbs are recommended to support organ health and are especially helpful to those who have an internal disorder.
